glo2facial
An oxygenating facial that works from beneath the surface, not just on top of it — gentle enough for sensitive skin, effective enough to book before an event.
A glo2facial (formerly OxyGeneo) combines several steps into one treatment. It begins with Oxfoliation, where an exfoliating capsule reacts with a primer gel to produce carbon dioxide bubbles at the skin's surface. That local CO₂ triggers the Bohr effect, prompting the body to send more oxygen to the area from within — rather than simply spraying oxygen on top of the skin, as older oxygen facials did.
From there, gentle ultrasound conditions the skin and helps active ingredients absorb, followed by a lymphatic massage that reduces puffiness and calms redness. Nutrients and actives are infused throughout.
The treatment is customizable, with different formulations targeting hydration, brightening, firming, or breakouts — so the same appointment can be adjusted season to season as your skin changes.
This is the most broadly tolerated treatment we offer. Because it is non-invasive and non-ablative, it works for sensitive, rosacea-prone, and acne-prone skin that cannot handle harsher resurfacing. It is also an excellent entry point if you are new to in-office treatment, and a popular add-on to soothe skin alongside other procedures.

What to expect
We look at what your skin needs that day and choose the formulation — hydrating, brightening, calming, or clarifying.
Roughly 30 to 60 minutes, described by most patients as a warm facial massage. There is no vacuum suction and no harsh extraction, so it stays comfortable throughout.
No downtime at all. Skin looks plump and luminous right away. Wear sunscreen and skip retinoids and strong acids for a day or two.
Calm, hydrated, luminous — the same day.
Results
This is one of the few treatments where the result is visible immediately. Most patients leave with smoother texture, better hydration, and a noticeable glow after a single appointment, which is why it is so often scheduled the day before an event.
The effects are also cumulative. A series spaced roughly two to four weeks apart builds steadily better tone, clarity, and hydration than any single session delivers. Many patients settle into it as monthly maintenance, or pair it with laser treatments to keep skin calm and conditioned in between.
Common questions
None. Skin may look slightly flushed for a short while, but most patients leave looking better immediately, which is why it is frequently booked the day of or day before an event.
A traditional facial mostly cleanses and exfoliates the surface. A glo2facial adds oxygenation from within, ultrasound to drive ingredient absorption, and lymphatic massage. It is an energy-based treatment performed in a dermatology practice, not a relaxation service.
Yes, and it is often a good choice for exactly those patients. There is no harsh vacuum suction or aggressive extraction, and the lymphatic step actively helps calm redness. If you have active rosacea, we will still assess your skin first.
It can. A clarifying formulation helps with congestion and breakouts, and it is gentle enough for inflamed skin. That said, moderate to severe acne needs a medical plan — a facial alone is not the answer, and we would rather treat the acne properly than sell you a series that will not resolve it.
For cumulative improvement, roughly every two to four weeks. Many patients then move to monthly maintenance. Because there is no downtime, it fits easily into a routine.
Skip retinoids, exfoliating acids, and strong actives for about 48 hours beforehand. Afterward, stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and avoid heavy sun exposure for a day or two.
